Brief introduction of granulation technical requirements for feed powder content

At present, the sources of raw materials and feeding methods are different in different parts of the world, which leads to different requirements for feed quality in each region, and there are also great differences in the level of control of pelleting technology. For example, the pelleting technology related to the quality control of feed products is discussed.
1 Domestic requirements for feed
At present, the development of the feed industry in mainland China is facing unprecedented reform efforts, and the trend is generally to serve intensive and large-scale breeding. Therefore, it not only puts forward requirements for the scale of feed enterprises, but also puts forward higher requirements for the quality control of feed enterprises.
① Due to cost control and seasonal temperature difference, the current domestic feed industry formula changes more and more frequently.
② The continuity of pelleting is destroyed due to the problem of many varieties of feed enterprises.
③ Due to the fierce market competition, farmers have put forward high requirements for the cost performance of feed (powder rate, pulverization rate), appearance (particle appearance), and maturity.
2 Key elements of quality control of finished feed pellets
2.1 Powder content of feed pellets
The powder content of the feed directly affects the utilization rate of the feed, and is currently the most concerned problem for farmers. The solutions to this problem can be divided into the following categories:
① Improve the degree of maturation of the material to improve the hardness of the material, thereby reducing the phenomenon of pulverization.
② Increase the compression ratio of the mold to improve the compactness of the particles.
③In the process of pelletizing, increase the gap between the ring die and the pressing roller to improve the hardness of the pellets.
④ The paddle of the modulator is adjusted to prolong the curing time.
⑤ Reduce the feeding frequency of the feeder to improve the maturation of the material.
⑥ Adding rice bran meal, flour, wheat, sugar and milk powder to the formula can improve the hardness of the particles.
⑦ Reducing greasy substances in the formula can improve the hardness of the particles.
⑧ The number of holes in the mold is reduced, which can improve the density of the particles and increase the hardness.
⑨ Increasing the pulverization fineness of the material can improve the aging, thereby increasing the particle hardness.
