A ring die feed pellet machine, also called a ring die pellet mill, is a mechanical pelletizing machine used to convert prepared feed materials into compact pellets.
Unlike a small flat die pellet machine, the ring die pellet mill uses a rotating ring die and internal rollers to compress feed material continuously.
The typical pelletizing process is:
Prepared Feed Mash → Feeding → Conditioning → Compression → Pelletizing → Cutting → Cooling → Screening
The final pellet size is determined mainly by the ring die hole diameter, while production capacity depends on the machine model, feed formula, raw material characteristics, moisture, pellet diameter and operating conditions.
